Donations In-Kind Items Unfortunately, the American Red Cross of Ventura County is unable to accept food or clothing donations.   Collection and distribution of food and clothing is time and space consuming. We work hard in developing relationships with local businesses and non-profits to secure these items in the time of a disaster.  This gives us increased flexibility to focus on the services we provide to disaster victims and the programs we operate on a daily basis.
