Presidential Service Award ~ We have been very fortunate to have issued our first batch of these pins and certificates handed out by department directors for logged volunteer hours that we could collect. Since this program is new, we're working on ironing out the kinks, and could use your help with acknowledging you, swell volunteers, by having you log your hours spent on behalf of this Chapter; by using the Volunteer Participation Form link on this page. Please complete and either return to our offices and/or email back to vcvolunteer@usa.redcross.org. With your help and patience we'll be able to provide you with all of the accolades so deserving to each of you for all of the time you give to support our Chapter's programs.

- We respond to between 50 and 70 tragic local disasters each year (Floods, Mudslides, Fires)
- We annually train nearly 35,000 residents in life-saving skills (First Aid, CPR, AED)
- Our Volunteers are the last civilians the soldiers see before they are deployed for what may be a dangerous tour of duty ... And, when the troops return home we are there to greet them with their loved ones.
