Disaster Services

When a disaster (hurricane, flood, fire, tornado, man-made disaster) threatens or strikes, the Red Cross reaches out to families by providing temporary shelter, food, and clothing.
The Red Cross aid to clients is provided by voluntary contributions from the American People. All Red Cross disaster help is free for victims of fires, hurricanes, floods, tornados or any other type of natural disaster. In addition to the emergency relief provided in natural disasters, Red Cross Disaster Action Teams respond to an average of 5 house fires per week. |
